We arrived late due to a flight cancellation, but the hotel staff was very accommodating. They provided clear instructions on getting the room key and parking the car. Ursula at the front desk was particularly kind and helpful. the location of the hotel was excellent, with Melk Abby right in front. the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. the staff at the hotel, especially Madame Doris, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. the breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. the hotel also provided free bikes, which allowed us to start our biking tour immediately.

I had a lovely stay at a hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and hardworking. The restaurant in the hotel was also fantastic, with delicious food. I especially enjoyed using the hotel bicycles to ride along the river. I'll recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right on the square with a few nice restaurants nearby and of course the Abbey which is a must visit. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure. The staff were friendly and spoke English, making communication easy. The buffet breakfast provided a good variety of options. the hotel had great facilities and advantages such as an elevator and a locked bike area.

The carpets in the room were not to my liking, but that seems to be common in traditional homes/hotels.

The hotel was perfectly situated right in the center of the town, with easy access to shops and only a short walk to the old town square. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed that provided a peaceful night's sleep. The friendly staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to choose from. Additionally, the hotel had a great view overlooking the square and there were several nice restaurants nearby.

That there was no view from our room, as it faced a wall/roof.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome drink and made to feel right at home. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning ensuring my comfort. I also loved the terrace with garden furniture, where I could relax and soak in the serene atmosphere.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

This charming hotel made our romantic escape worthwhile. the food was mouth-watering, especially the creamed pumpkin soup and the pot roast. We appreciated the warm bread that was served and the friendly and efficient service we received. the traditional decor created a lovely and cozy ambiance, perfect for a romantic getaway. the location was great, as it was just a short walk from the main attraction. We also enjoyed the complementary breakfast and easy parking nearby.

Our room had a small and high window, which made it difficult to look out without standing on a chair. there was no hospitality tray in the room or dressing gown and slippers, which we expected from our four-star hotel.

Staying at the Post gives a special charm to the place. the restaurant serves high-quality Austrian modern food and has a good mix of tradition and modernity. the staff was very helpful and provided great recommendations. the amazing breakfast was served in a beautiful courtyard. Great location just minutes from the Abbey. the hotel provides bikes for exploring the Wachau Valley. We highly recommend spending a day biking to Krems and taking the relaxing river ferry back to the Post.
