my recent stay in srinagar was made memorable by the exceptional service and warmth of the staff at the hotel. the upgrade to super-deluxe ground floor rooms at no extra cost truly showcased their thoughtfulness and care. the location with views of dal lake and peaks was breathtaking.

inconsistent room facilities.

the historic property and super-deluxe rooms on the ground floor with upgraded amenities were jaw-dropping. the staff's warmth and efficiency, especially Mr Imran and Mr Irshad, were OUTSTANDING. the prompt room service, well-equipped gym, and thoughtful assistance for senior citizens were fantastic. A big shoutout to the friendly gardeners, the accommodating duty manager, and the helpful front desk team who ensured a smooth check-out, even at 5.30 am. Can't wait to visit again!

Two men, who seemed like taxi drivers operating within the premises, tried to swindle me into their cab, only to be thwarted by my savvy use of the Jugnoo Taxi app. It was a comical standoff that highlighted the need to always be alert while traveling. A quirky twist to an otherwise splendid stay.

I keep coming back for city trip. Staff found my lost ID card once. Perfect place with Wi-Fi, parking, 24-hr reception, security, snack bar. Non-smoking, AC, no pets, board games, babysitting.

The royal setting and sprawling gardens at this regal palace are perfect for Family Entertainment. We enjoyed relaxing by the picturesque Dal Lake and exploring the majestic interiors.

My wife says that more kid-friendly activities could enhance the family experience.

from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and efficient staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the beautiful lawns and well-maintained heritage property added to the charm of our experience. we appreciated the upgrade to a maharni suite, the informative tour of the historic palace wing, and the prompt assistance during our early morning check-out.

We hit up the gym and chilled in the lush gardens. Mr Irshad came through with an upgrade when our TV was wack. the staff got us sorted for check-out at the crack of dawn. Can't wait to hit it up again!

Wish they had a cooler hangout spot with music where we could vibe and meet other young peeps.

Great staff, especially Mr. Lateef Bhat, who showed us around. Beautiful heritage property overlooking gardens and lake. Excellent Kashmiri cuisine.

the amenities are impressive, especially the spa and wellness centre, which allowed us to relax after a long day. the indoor swimming pool was heated and we were able to enjoy a massage in the spa lounge. the restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes and we enjoyed in-room breakfasts while overlooking the garden area.

Unparalleled location, beautiful rooms, great food, courteous staff, excellent gym and pool.

The hotel had a great ambiance and beautiful surroundings. the breakfast was amazing and served outdoors, where we enjoyed the stunning view. the staff was friendly and attentive and always willing to help. We also loved the fact that we were close to the city's main attractions and had easy access to transportation.

The bathroom fixtures were a bit old and not functioning properly, and we had to call maintenance to fix them. the Wi-Fi was not very reliable, and we struggled to stay connected at times.
