I recently stayed at Lungi Vibe in Varkala for a few days and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is so relaxed and chill, perfect for backpackers like me who want some peaceful and relaxing time. The location is unbeatable, just a 2-minute walk from the cliff and the beach. The staff, especially Alsin, is incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or tours. The common area with hammocks and trees is a great place to hang out, and the wifi is excellent. The rooms are simple but clean, and the bathrooms are spacious. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Varkala.

my second stay in varkala was made even more memorable by lungi vibe. the owners went above and beyond, upgrading my room and providing helpful travel advice even though they were away. their warmth and hospitality made me feel at home, and the new year's eve dinner they prepared for us was a highlight. highly recommend this place.

Limited social scene, but perfect if you want a peaceful yoga retreat.

Nothing like starting my day with a healthy dose of artificial red jam! Who needs fruit when you can have chemicals?

The value for money at Lungi Vibe was outstanding - you get everything you need on a budget. The room was spacious and clean, with a shaded balcony for a relaxing break. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the lively nightlife on the cliffs and the beautiful Black Beach. The staff treated us like family, always there to help and make sure we had a comfortable stay.

The morning meal could have been improved with more variety and options.

lungi vibe was a pleasant surprise in varkala. close to the cliff and restaurants, the earthy vibe and friendly hosts made our stay comfortable. the added bonus of renting a scooty onsite was convenient too.
