The Superior Lake View room offered a stunning view of the pool and Ashtamudi Lake, making mornings delightful. While the staff at the restaurant, particularly Sujith, were attentive and accommodating, the air conditioning in the room struggled to provide adequate cooling. The buffet had a good selection, but the setup sometimes felt sparse due to the low guest count. Ideal for those seeking relaxation amidst nature.

The Grand Heritage King room boasted stunning views of the lake, and the wellness spa treatments were incredibly rejuvenating. I really enjoyed the insightful lake-side property tour. A highlight was the diverse dining options, including local seafood done right!

Stunning views of Ashtamudi Lake from the balcony.

I was disappointed with the check-in experience. Our bags were not delivered to our room, and we had to carry them ourselves. The front office staff did not provide the warm welcome I expected from a five-star hotel. Additionally, the Ayurvedic massage treatment was subpar, feeling rushed and forceful without any technique. Overall, I felt let down by the service quality during my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at The Leela Ashtamudi! The property beautifully blends modern and traditional architecture, creating a stunning ambience. Our room, the Grand Heritage King, was spacious and had breathtaking views of Ashtamudi Lake. The welcome we received was unique too, starting with a tilak ceremony, which felt warm and personal. The restaurant's local cuisine was decent, and I particularly enjoyed the morning views from the dining area while sipping hot coffee.

The pool area could be cleaner.
