We had a wonderful time at this villa resort and spa in Ubud. the location was perfect, just on the edge of town, so it was quiet and peaceful. the villa itself was amazing, with a lovely pool and plenty of privacy. We also loved the preparations for the temple's 100th anniversary, which added to the overall atmosphere. the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We especially enjoyed the two infinity pools surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. It was the perfect combination of nature and convenience. We also treated ourselves to a relaxing massage by the pool. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely boutique hotel in Ubud. The villa-style rooms were spacious and immaculate, with breathtaking views of the authentic grounds and temple. The Balinese hospitality of the staff was truly remarkable, always friendly and gracious. The a la carte breakfast included in our stay was delicious, and we enjoyed easy walks into town to explore the local area. Although there were a few minor issues with housekeeping, they were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. The highlight of our stay was the great swimming pool, where we often had the place to ourselves. Despite some neighborhood noise, the overall atmosphere of the property was peaceful and tranquil. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and authentic Bali experience.

We recently stayed at a private villa in Ubud and had an amazing experience at Alas Petulu. the villa was spacious with a large bedroom and bathroom. the highlight was definitely the swimming pool and infinity pool, which were clean, cool, and perfect for a swim. the location of the hotel was also great, just a short 5-10 minute walk into central Ubud, yet still in a quiet area. the hotel grounds were beautifully maintained with stunning gardens, providing a tranquil atmosphere. the staff, especially Amanda, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond during a medical incident. We will definitely be returning to Alas Petulu!
