A Hidden Gem in the Rainforest

I had the most incredible experience at Ayung Resort Ubud. The resort is nestled amidst a lush rainforest, offering a truly magical and serene atmosphere. As I floated in the infinity pool, surrounded by dense foliage and listening to the soothing sound of rapids in the nearby river, I felt completely at peace.

Absolutely loved the stunning natural surroundings and the eclectic art collection. The spa offered amazing treatments and the food was delicious. Oh, and let's not forget the little sweet treats that were delivered every evening, such a lovely touch!

The location of this resort was super! It's nestled in a peaceful area with jaw-dropping beautiful views. The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best we've ever had. The rooms were exactly as shown in the photos and spacious. The staff were incredibly courteous and prompt. The food at the restaurant was excellent with fair prices. The service was fantastic, with staff members like Komang in the restaurant who remembered our preferences. The setting of the resort in the middle of a tropical rainforest was mind-blowing, with cobblestone paths leading to stunning moss-covered rock carvings. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant's food was sublime and the spa was nothing short of magical. I never wanted to leave this perfect resort!

the exclusive amenities like the Spa & wellness centre and Swimming pool were amazing. the Spa centre offered the best Massage and Body scrub that provided ultimate relaxation. the Facial and Manicure service was top, notch. the Beauty treatment was exceptional. the Breakfast here was outstanding and the Special diet menus added an extra touch. the location advantages of stunning views and beautiful Garden area were breathtaking. the private facilities like Treatment room was perfect for a pampering session.

The only minor annoyance was the limited frequency of the shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Costing $7 after 5 pm, it wasn't very budget, friendly.

The location of the resort is perfect, just a short shuttle ride away from the bustling city center of Ubud. It's a great opportunity to explore the traditional markets and soak in the local culture. The resort itself is nestled in the midst of spotless and well manicured gardens, providing a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with comfortable beds and stunning views of the surrounding hills and river valley. The service is exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff taking care of every need. The breakfast options are extensive, with a variety of delicious choices to start the day off right.

The spa services at the resort are quite expensive compared to the local prices in Ubud.

Can't fault anything about it.

As young people, we loved the amazing swimming pool and the beautiful forest surroundings. The breakfast menu was superb with fresh juices, fruits, breads, and main meals. The open balcony setting among the tree canopy made it even more enjoyable. The afternoon tea was a great way to meet other guests and extended into the evening. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make everyone happy. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The hotel did a great job keeping bugs away with scented lemon grass. great value for what we got.

Felt cared for, nothing to complain about.

What I appreciated the most was being able to enjoy a free van ride into town each day, which allowed me to indulge in my love for shopping without worrying about transportation. I enjoyed being able to receive complimentary breakfast and tea at my convenience.

The one downside of my stay was that the resort was secluded, which may not suit everyone's preferences. However, I personally enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the tourist crowds and felt grateful for the opportunity to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings.
