We had such a blast at this place! the staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home, always ensuring we were safe and well-fed. We loved chilling in the beautiful jungle surroundings by the river, and the live music definitely added to the cozy vibe. the only downside was not having a menu with prices, so sometimes it was a bit tricky figuring out what to order, but the delicious food made up for it! 🌿.

I stayed at Batu Kapal for 4 nights and it was the perfect start to my trip in Sumatra. The beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly staff made it an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate. The location next to the rainforest and river was stunning, and perfect for starting a jungle trek. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the food, especially the ginger and spice tea, was delicious. I felt safe as a solo female traveler and would highly recommend Batu Kapal to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.
