We loved the working aircon and the pool, which provided a much-needed relief from the heat. The location was also excellent, with easy access to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The value for money was great, especially for low-budget travellers like us.

enjoyed our stay in Selemadeg at Gubug Balian Beach Bungalow during our Christmas party. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our holiday relaxing and enjoyable. The pool and bar/restaurant offered fantastic views and great value for money.

Breakfast options disappointing.

I recently stayed at a beach bungalow in Bali with a great location and a stunning view of the surf from the pool. The basic room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a fan to keep me cool. I opted for the breakfast included in my stay and it was excellent. There was also a fantastic Warung across the road that overlooked the beach, perfect for a meal. Additionally, Bella Massage, also located across the road, provided the best massage in Bali. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The stunning sunset view and the amazing location close to the beach were the highlights for me. I was able to easily view the surf beach from the hotel, which was a truly incredible experience. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable and the hotel facilities, including the pool with its great view, were top-notch. The included breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very responsive and attentive.

The view from the seaview room was absolutely mind-blowing. The grounds and pool were super, providing a wonderful place to relax. The rooms, although basic, were comfortable and clean. The breakfast options were okay. The staff were friendly and attentive. Balian is a laid-back and quiet village, perfect for a peaceful getaway. I have stayed here four times now and will keep coming back for sure.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, we really got a great deal! The room was clean and comfy, and the location was spot on. The staff at Gubug Balian Beach Bungalow were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home.

The breakfast experience could have been better if they managed to speed things up a bit. Waiting 45 minutes for a banana pancake when you're the only guest is a bit of a bummer.

The food was delicious, especially the local Balinese dishes. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The kids loved the traditional Balinese music playing in the background, and we enjoyed the beautiful decor. Ary's Warung provided a fantastic cultural experience for the whole family.

My children wanted more kid-friendly options on the menu.

I stayed at Gubug Balian for 4 nights and it was absolutely amazing. The views and pool are breathtaking, and the breakfast had a wide selection. Balian is a quiet and laid-back area, perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is friendly, and the gardens are lovely. The location is top-notch, with an infinity pool that offers stunning ocean views. I highly recommend this place!

The pool was really nice and the location was perfect. We loved being able to relax by the pool and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The beach was just a short walk away, which was great for us since we're both surfers. It was the perfect spot for us to catch some waves and enjoy the sun.

The rooms were dark and dirty, and the bathroom facilities were not properly cleaned. We found dirt in every corner of the room.
