My stay at Menzel was absolutely amazing. The property is breathtakingly beautiful and surrounded by scenic beauty. The traditional villas were charming, and I loved the plunge pool. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make my girlfriend's birthday special. The food served was delicious and the breakfast had a good variety.

We initially had some issues with the room, but the staff quickly resolved it by moving us to a different one. The towels were not super clean, and we didn't have hot water in the bathtub.

The newly opened resort has friendly staff and beautiful gardens. AC works well and the complimentary breakfast at Menzel is delicious. Good location to explore the area.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that I had everything I needed. The breakfast options were limited but well-presented, and the espresso coffee was absolutely fantastic. The hotel also provided a free shuttle service to the center of Ubud, making it easy to explore the local attractions. it was a perfect getaway in the heart of nature.

One minor drawback was the noise from the pool area that could be heard in my room at night.

Our room at Menzel was conveniently located near all the hotel amenities, including the reception area, restaurant, and spa. We loved being just steps away from the swimming pool surrounded by beautiful landscaping and statues. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with clean twin beds and a hot shower with great water pressure. The complimentary breakfast at Menzel's restaurant, Menzel, was absolutely delicious, and we regretted not having dinner there too. The staff were kind and attentive, making us feel welcomed and relaxed during our stay. The visual beauty of Menzel, with its vibrant colors and natural backdrop, added to the overall peaceful and enjoyable experience.

That our downstairs room felt slightly damp. However, this was a minor issue considering all the other positive aspects of our stay.

The restaurant adjacent to the lobby is a charming space that can accommodate up to 40 people. The menu offers a delightful combination of international and local cuisine, satisfying my taste buds in the most pleasing way. The unique and beautifully decorated rooms, painted by local artists, added a touch of artistic flair to my stay.

I just loved the issues caused by trying to exist in today's fast-paced world. It was such a thrill to have to deal with noise, lack of proper doors/windows, and stinginess from the hotel.
