I must say, I got great value for my money at this hidden gem in the heart of town. The room was cozy and had a charming traditional vibe, complete with a canopy bed and beautiful carved wood details. The central location was perfect, surrounded by lush tropical gardens that created a peaceful and private atmosphere. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, always making sure I had everything I needed. Plus, the daily complimentary water bottles were a nice touch. And let me not forget the pool area! It was impeccably clean and just the right size for a refreshing dip.

As for the breakfast experience, I think it could have been improved with a bit more variety.

The children of the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my stay. They always made sure I had everything I needed and even offered assistance with my luggage. The hotel's decoration and general areas were lovely, with beautiful Balinese-inspired details that created a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The hotel was also easily accessible for senior people, with ramps and handrails in place to help navigate the property comfortably.

I wish there had been a senior-friendly exercise or wellness program available during my stay.

I had a truly enjoyable experience at this hotel in Bali! The location is fantastic - situated on a quiet side street, it offers a peaceful atmosphere while still being within walking distance of everything. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with comfy beds and spotless bathrooms. The staff here is exceptional - warm, polite, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast, delivered to the room each morning, is simply stunning. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Bali.

the 1 bedroom cottage I stayed in had stunning Balinese decor and was fully air-conditioned, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. the cottage also had a private yard and was conveniently located close to the pool and reception. Despite being set back off the laneway, the location was quiet and peaceful. It was only a short 10-minute walk to the Ubud market and other attractions. There were also plenty of amazing restaurants and cafes nearby, with my favorites being Cafe des Artistes and Why Not Cafe. I also enjoyed the coffee at Kopi on Bisma, which offered a 10% discount. the staff were incredibly polite and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this accommodation to friends and will definitely book again on my next visit to Ubud.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful jungle-garden retreat. the bungalows were beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. the location was perfect - right in the heart of the action in Ubud, yet tucked away alongside a tranquil river and surrounded by stunning gardens. We especially loved the peaceful swimming pool, which provided a refreshing escape after a day exploring the city. the staff were friendly and attentive, and the amenities, such as the minibar and complimentary tea and coffee, added a special touch to our stay. it was a peaceful and enjoyable week at Sama's.
