We recently stayed at Alverna Lodge for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The quality of the property is apparent from the moment you enter. The spacious and beautifully furnished guest lounges, complete with plush leather settees and a full-sized pool table, were a delight to relax in. The bedroom itself was top-notch, with luxurious drapes, comfortable furniture, and a heavenly bed. The breakfast was delicious, with perfectly cooked dishes and the best bacon we had during our entire trip. Rohnan and Niamh were delightful hosts, making our stay even more enjoyable. Alverna Lodge is truly a gem.

Would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The host, Niamh, was amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with attention to detail that was truly fabulous. We loved the quietness of the wooden floors and the soundproof walls, as we couldn't hear any noise from other guests or the road. The breakfast selection was excellent, and we definitely plan to return. Considering the value for money, this B&B far surpassed other hotels in the area.
