I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was convenient, just off the motorway, making it a perfect stop on our way to Northern Ireland. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room, located on a higher floor, was spacious and quiet, providing us with a comfortable and relaxing stay.

One specific situation that stood out to me was the breakfast experience. Although the hot food menu had a limited selection, the quality of the food exceeded my expectations.

We recently stayed at Carrickdale Hotel for a birthday trip and had a wonderful time. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, even going above and beyond to make my daughter's day by surprising her with a slice of cake and a candle firework. The hotel offers a beautiful and well-kept garden, clean rooms, and a convenient location for exploring both the North and South. The family room was spacious, with plenty of electrical sockets for charging devices. The swimming pool was great, and the secure parking at the rear of the hotel was a bonus. Complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee, and biscuits were appreciated, as well as the free wifi. Finally, the 12pm check out was a welcome convenience.

The restaurant offers a delicious and well-served meal, with a wide selection for breakfast too. The hotel's elegant appearance and beautifully landscaped gardens provide a wonderful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The friendly staff provide excellent service, making guests feel welcome and well taken care of. The facilities, such as the spa, swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzis.

Had a great Xmas break with family. Loved the spacious family room with high cabinets for the kettle. Perfectly located near Slieve Gullion Forest Park and had amazing amenities with fabulous spa treatments. Complimentary breakfast was amazing with a variety of delicious food options.

Dinner could have been better as some dishes were a bit greasy and had a strange twist to them. the dining area was a bit cramped and staff seemed overwhelmed at times, but overall a good experience.

I particularly enjoyed exploring the gardens, with their open-roofed eating areas and small park nearby, which was perfect for my two kids. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From helping free a doll from its box to preparing porridge for my little one, their attentiveness made traveling with a 13-month-old much easier. The leisure facilities here were top-notch, with a sauna, steam room, plunge pool, and jacuzzi all located in the pool area. It was a treat for both myself and my children, who were allowed to join me in the jacuzzi.

The breakfast options were delicious and varied. the hotel had fantastic facilities, including a spa and pool for guests to enjoy.

There was one aspect of the hotel that was not as friendly as the rest. The staff in the secret garden area were not very welcoming.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, giving us extra time for checking out and allowing us to enjoy a morning swim. The hotel is family-friendly and perfect for those with young children. The food at the Secret Garden was delicious, especially the tea and scones. The outdoor hot tub was a must-try, and the WiFi connection was excellent. The location, just off the M1, made it convenient for a pit stop between Dublin and Belfast.
