Family-friendly with a few quirks

Clybaun Hotel offers great amenities like a lovely pool, a fantastic sauna, and a really nice outdoor hot tub. Kids loved the vibrant decorations and found the staff friendly, especially the gentleman who kindly provided extra pasta at dinner!

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the beautiful conservatory. The kids had fun at the nearby beach, building sand castles and swimming. With our colleagues, we appreciated the tasty food and great service. Highly recommend the full Irish breakfast!

For dads, it would be great if there was a bar fridge in the room.

If you plan to use the hot tub, bring your own swimming cap, as purchasing one on-site requires cash only.

The food here is absolutley horrendous, I mean who serves spoiled muffins? And let’s not even talk about the uncomfortable bed that gave me no sleep at all. I truly expected some kind of compensation for my stay, but alas, nothing. It seems special treatment is reserved for those less deserving. Just couldn’t give a good review.

The rooms were good size and spotless , with a lovely breakfast despite extra costs. Staff were friendly and the location offered easy access to nearby attractions.

what a catastrophe at this so-called hotel. the spa and pool were a disaster, towels were AWOL, and I was practically left to fend for myself. I also regrettably found that my special request for a complimentary upgrade went completely ignored, what a shame, this could’ve been good but it just wasn’t. absoluteley frustrating.

Impeccable hygiene standards, cozy rooms equipped with modern coffee machines, tasty dining options – grewt place to stay.

Fabulous location with evening drinks and tasty meals made our stay enjoyable. The spacious family room felt just right!

The swimming pool was pleasantly warm, and the outside hot tub was a nice surprise. Enjoyed chill time in the steam and sauna rooms. Plus, the spacious bedroom was brilliantly appointed with an Nespresso machine!

the only downside was the location being a bit far from the center. but our family room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had homemade Guinness brown bread. the pool area was a great way to relax, although a bit crowded during lessons.

We had a delightful stay, with attentive staff and exceptional service at every turn. The free upgrade to a suite for our anniversary made our trip feel even more special. Delicious meals and a cozy atmosphere made dining a joy.

A Family-Focused Stay with Room for Improvement

Our recent stay was marked by attentive staff who truly aimed to please. special shout out to Michaela in O'Gormans bar for her warm interactions, despite being busy. However, a heads up on reservation requirements would have helped us avoid disappointment. Overall, a solid stay but expect some bumps along the way!
