We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The bed was comfy, and the room was spacious with high ceilings that made us feel at home. The kitchenette was convenient and affordable, giving us that extra room in a suite that we loved. Being close to an I-94 exit and the Michigan wineries was a major plus. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and the staff was awesome. We also appreciated that they allowed our small dog to stay with us. The beds were comfortable, the showers were good, and there was plenty of room.

There were some negative aspects of our stay at this hotel. the room had a strong chemical smell, which was overwhelming and gave me allergic reactions.

Candlewood Suites in Benton Harbor exceeded my expectations! The value for the money was great, and the room, although older, was clean and comfortable with new, soft linens and towels. The staff treated us like VIPs, especially the manager Frank, who was attentive and made us feel special. The location was convenient, close to an I-94 exit and the Michigan wineries.

The only thing that could make the breakfast option better would be to have it available at the hotel.

We arrived in St. Joseph and had trouble finding the city center, but luckily we stumbled upon the Candlewood Suites. The manager was extremely helpful and offered us a great rate. The location was perfect, just off the interstate and close to Silver Beach. The hotel was well-maintained and quiet, with a nice hot tub. The little "store" in the lobby was convenient too. Despite a few minor issues, overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for its value and service.
