The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, providing us with useful information about the local area. the breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of coffee available, which was a great way to start the day. the rooms were clean and cozy, with comfortable chairs to relax in. the location was convenient, close to where we needed to be for our weekend plans.

The TV in the room was too small and positioned too far away from the bed, making it difficult to hear without turning up the volume, which I didn't want to do to avoid disturbing other guests. the bed was not very comfortable for me, as it was a metal framed one instead of a sprung divan.

Location was handy for sight seeing and the kitchen was decently equipped for our needs. the instructions to access the property were clear and easy to follow. the seating outside provided a beautiful view of the countryside.

The room was way too small to accommodate three people with no chairs to sit and relax. the cleanliness standards could be improved with dirty linen left lying outside of our door.

Couldn't fault

Our stay at Ethan House B&B was simply fantastic. The location was perfect, close to the village, restaurants, pubs, and shops. The host, Roy, was incredibly welcoming and even gave us a lift to the nearby wedding venue when it was raining. The room was spacious, clean, and had comfy chairs to relax in after a long day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious, with a mouthwatering full Irish breakfast and the most amazing brown soda bread. Despite a small issue with the window blind allowing in some early morning daylight, everything else exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning to Ethan House B&B when we visit Rosscarbery again. I highly recommend this lovely B&B.

our stay at ethan's was excellent. our host was extremely hospitable. he suggested a great fish and chips place, and we had a lovely picnic by the beach. the room was clean and welcoming, and the bed was very comfortable. the traditional irish breakfast was delicious.
