The staff warmly assisted my elderly parents during my first stay. This place suits me perfectly - Free Wi-Fi, parking, bar, restaurant, paid shuttle. I always come back, especially for Christmas.

The lovely gardens and rain shower added to the experience, though the room was a bit warm and the fire alarm disrupted my sleep. Nevertheless, a top-notch experience overall.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel set in stunning gardens, where we attended a flawless wedding. The room was spacious and clean, with attention to detail like a bottle of water in a glass container. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel like it was our own wedding. The food was amazing, especially the garlic potatoes and perfectly cooked beef. We also loved the marquee in the gardens, with its magical atmosphere and wooden swing.

The rate for the room was higher if booked through certain websites.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The rooms were top-notch with a fabulous bathroom that had a stunning starry-sky ceiling. the staff was super attentive, even remembering our coffee preference. Enormous kudos for that little touch! 🌟 Everything was fantastic overall. the only hiccup was the room being a bit warm with an unadjustable heating and the mattress a tad hard, plus a surprise fire alarm late at night, but hey, all in all, it didn't dampen the great experience!

We had an absolutely magical day at Fernhill. Ann, our wedding planner, was incredible, always responsive and reassuring. The venue was stunning, with beautiful gardens and fairy lights. The food was a highlight, especially the black pudding spring. We can't wait to return and relive the magic. highly recommended.

The guests in the next room were very loud, which disrupted our sleep, but everything else about our stay was wonderful.
