We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. the staff were brilliant - they were friendly, helpful, and couldn't do enough for us. the grounds were beautiful, with plenty of trails to explore. the kids enjoyed the fairy trail, and the kids menu was very good. the food was delicious, although we would have liked a bit more selection. we loved our time at Fota Island Hotel And Spa and would highly recommend it.

The food in the bar fell short of expectations and was of an extremely poor standard.

Great experience overall, with friendly and accommodating staff. the complementary breakfast and Wi-Fi were a nice touch, and the hotel's location made it easy to get around town. the fitness center was well-equipped and perfect for a quick workout before or after meetings.

While the rooms were clean and comfortable, the noise level from nearby rooms and hallways was a bit distracting at times. the lack of soundproofing was a downside, but luckily I didn't spend too much time in my room.

The hotel's location and facilities were excellent, and the Christmas scene and Winter Wonderland experience added to our stay.

Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Upon check-in, our room was not quite ready, but the receptionist assured us that she would notify us as soon as it was. We took the opportunity to explore Cobh, and upon our return, the receptionist apologized for the delay and informed us that our room had been ready since 2:30pm. The staff promptly retrieved our bags and brought them to our room. Despite a minor hiccup with the coat missing, the staff quickly rectified the situation and ensured its return.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! It's easy to get to all the popular sightseeing spots in the area by car. The staff here were friendly and made us feel at ease during our spa day. The therapists explained the treatments well and were very professional. We loved the heated seats in the thermal suite, they were so relaxing. The afternoon tea at this hotel was the highlight of our day. The sandwiches, scones, and cakes were delicious and there was plenty of coffee. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even personally dropped us off at the restaurant.

The hotel decor is starting to look a bit tired and could use a refresh. The staff seemed a bit disorganized and lacked proper leadership during our stay.

This hotel is truly luxurious with exclusive amenities that fulfilled all of our needs. the Spa & wellness centre was heavenly and the indoor swimming pool and sauna were great for relaxation. the sun terrace and garden area were beautifully maintained and the entertainment was top-notch. the room advantages were exclusive; in-room breakfast was a delight, and the outdoor dining area and snack bar were perfect for a daytime bite. the restaurant served delicious buffet breakfast and packed lunches with special diet menus.

There was only one minor issue; we had to wait for a while to be served at the bar/lounge area.
