The location was perfect, right in the heart of the mountains. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome. The kitchen and reception area were clean and comfy, which was great for relaxing after a long day. And let me tell you about the breakfast! They offer delicious toast and jam, but for an extra fee, you can enjoy a full Irish breakfast. It was a great way to start the day. The only minor drawback was the low water pressure in the shower, but after a day of hiking, a lukewarm shower was still refreshing. Additionally, the wifi was a bit slow, but I just used my own data for hotspot in the reception area. I had a fantastic time at Glendalough International Youth and would definitely recommend it!

I stayed at Glendalough International Youth for a weekend getaway. The location was excellent, allowing easy access to the area. The rooms were large and not packed together, giving plenty of space. The hostel felt more like a resort with its spacious, comfortable, and brightly decorated rooms. The self-service kitchen was great, and there was even a large selection of DVD movies available. The staff were lovely, and I felt safe and secure during my stay. The proximity to attractions like Sally Gap and Clara Lara kids activity center was a bonus.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I recently stayed at Glendalough International Youth Hostel in a family ensuite triple room for a hiking trip in Glendalough National Park. The location was perfect, right next to the monastery and hiking trails. The communal kitchen was a great feature, allowing us to cook and interact with other guests. The staff, including Paul, Robert, and the volunteers, were all wonderful and made our stay even more enjoyable. The sheets were nicely starched and the room was clean. a fantastic stay in a beautiful setting.

I recently stayed at Glendalough International Youth Hostel for a family gathering, and it was the perfect location. The scenery and surroundings were superb, and the hostel itself was in a quiet area, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious and the bed and bed linen were of absolute perfection. The staff, especially the lady at reception, were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel, especially if you're looking to save some money. The on-site parking was also a convenient feature.

The staff at the hostel were really friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome and provided us with all the information we needed about the area. the hostel also had a great selection of movies that we could borrow and watch during our stay. the location of the hostel was perfect, with a beautiful view of the nearby ridge. It was also conveniently close to hiking trails and other outdoor activities that we wanted to do.

One thing that I didn't like was that the showers had push buttons and the water temperature couldn't be adjusted. It was a bit challenging to shower because the water started off cold and then got too hot towards the end.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the garden of Ireland. The location was perfect, as we were within walking distance of the old monastery and all the trails around Glendalough. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. I had a wonderful experience at this hostel. The staff were friendly and provided me with lots of helpful information. The common area was cozy and the beds were comfortable enough. The rooms were very clean and the facilities, including the shower and bathroom, were in good condition. The location of the hostel is incredible - it's right next to the national park and a stone's throw away from the Upper Lake. This made it easy for me to explore the beautiful nature and hike along the Glendalough trails. The hostel is also very close to the Glendalough Visitor Center, which was convenient for me to learn more about the area.
