My partner and I stayed at Heather House for a weekend getaway to explore Glendalough. The location was perfect for walkers, with easy access to the lake and mountain trails. The room and bathroom exceeded our expectations, and the comfortable bed was a welcome relief after a long day of hiking. We also loved the convenience of having a nearby restaurant and bar that served excellent food. The highlight was definitely the beautiful and peaceful patio with its magnificent garden, complete with a hammock chair. The charming bird's chirping added a fun touch to our stay. Lastly, the hostess was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. this was truly one of the best places we've stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and clean hotel. The rooms were spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The nearby Heather restaurant served delicious meals for dinner and breakfast. The location in Laragh was perfect for exploring the nearby Glendalough and enjoying the quaint village atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and informative, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The communal areas and garden provided additional spaces to relax. we highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.

We especially loved the thoughtful touch of having a room where we could make tea/coffee and enjoy some biscuits. the communal areas and garden provided nice spaces to relax and unwind. the restaurant two doors down served delicious food, and we highly recommend trying their banoffee pie. We can't wait to come back and stay here again.

I booked a twin room for a friend and me for two nights and we were delighted to discover our own cozy chalet. It was impeccably clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we could ask for. The staff, including Andy, who welcomed us and took care of us during our meals at the Wicklow Heather restaurant, were absolutely amazing. They struck the perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. Highly recommended!

We had a delightful stay at a charming BNB in Laragh. the staff at Heather House were exceptional, personally showing us to our room and even transferring our reservation from their sister hotel. They kindly held our luggage while we went hiking and recommended a fantastic local restaurant. the rooms were clean, simple, and cozy. the highlight was the location, close to the beautiful Glendalough and the town of Laragh.

We had a fantastic stay at Heather House. the location was excellent, just a short distance from the Glendalough monastic site. the room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. the in-room facilities, including the coffee maker and full-size fridge, were a great convenience. the bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. the shower room was impeccable, with a spacious walk-in shower and plenty of hot water. We especially loved the furnished terrace and the beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and check-out a breeze. We hope to return in the future.

I booked Heather House on short notice and everything worked out perfectly. You have your own apartment with a fridge and free coffee and tea available. Breakfast in the restaurant next door is very good. The apartment is next to a secluded and quiet garden. Bridget is an absolute asset, friendly, welcoming, efficient and full of information. Well-equipped room, excellent bed, gorgeous decor in the lounge areas.

We had the most fantastic stay at this charming guesthouse. The location is perfect, with the beautiful Glendalough hiking trails just a 20-minute walk away. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are excellent, ensuring a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed the delicious meals at the adjoining restaurant, which is a great convenience. The peaceful and quiet surroundings add to the overall experience.

The only slight drawback we noticed was the lack of lighting in the courtyard staircase, which could be potentially dangerous. However, this was a minor issue that did not significantly impact our stay.

The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the center of the village. It's so convenient to have the Wicklow Heather restaurant right next door. The receptionist even called ahead to book a table for us in this delicious restaurant.
