The hotel is located in a convenient spot that allowed easy access to nearby attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about the area. the room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. We also enjoyed the delicious food at the bar, with a good variety of options to choose from.

We found some minor issues during our stay, such as the occasional noise from pets in nearby rooms and the lack of reception staff at checkout. Additionally, the breakfast on the second morning was not up to par, and some aspects of the facilities, such as the furniture and bathroom, could benefit from an update.

They even arranged taxis to the wedding venue and told us about a shuttle bus at the end of the night. The breakfast in the morning was delicious too. a great place to stay!

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was the food for breakfast. Some items seemed a little overcooked, perhaps because they were kept under a heat lamp for too long.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and had a great time! the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby towns and the motorway. the food at the restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. the cozy atmosphere of the bar and restaurant made us feel right at home.

We did have a few issues during our stay. When we arrived, there was no reception staff on duty, and we had to go into the bar to check-in.

The bed was extra comfy. The room was very clean and the shower was definitely a power shower. Nice toiletries were provided even though I did bring my own. The breakfast was excellent with loads of it. The staff were lovely and the bar food was excellent. The bar was reasonably priced for a hotel.

We had a fantastic time at The Horse And Hound Hotel. We were able to bring our dog, which was a huge bonus. The food was excellent, freshly cooked with high quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was satisfactory. The location was perfect for exploring nearby towns and attractions. We will definitely be returning!

The rooms were a little dated and needed some attention. the carpet was fraying and there were some maintenance issues, such as missing tap heads and chipped bath panels.

The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending at Horetown House, which was just 7 miles away. The staff were incredibly helpful, arranging taxis for us and even letting us know about a shuttle bus to the venue. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the hotel itself was lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location and helpful staff.
