I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect, situated high on a hill with easy access to the town via steps close to the Church. It was so convenient to be just behind the main street, with bars and restaurants within walking distance. The views from the hotel were stunning, offering a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding area. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with their friendly and professional demeanor making me feel right at home. The room itself was immaculately clean and the amenities provided, such as free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV, added an extra level of comfort to my stay. I also loved the garden furniture on the terrace, perfect for enjoying the beautiful scenery.

The warm welcome we received upon arrival made us feel right at home. The attention to detail and the lovely warm fire that was waiting for us in the evening were delightful touches. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the homemade bread. The kind and caring nature of our host made our stay even more enjoyable. The view onto the Bay was absolutely stunning. The hotel offers plenty of room for parking, which was extremely convenient. this place is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. We would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Our stay at Island View House was absolutely lovely. The location was fantastic, offering beautiful views of the bay and Bere Island. Denis, the host, was very gracious and always available to help whenever needed. The breakfast every morning was delicious and sumptuous, featuring a variety of options such as cold cuts, fruit salad, freshly baked bread, and even eggs and sausage on weekends. I also appreciated the small library of books about the West Cork region available for guests to peruse. The room itself was clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I highly recommend Island View House for a wonderful experience in Castletownbere.
