Excellent newly refurbished room, great shower, best airconditioning, quiet and efficient, helpful family run hotel.

Nothing to complain about at all.

We stayed at a hotel near the train station in a nice location. The staff was friendly, although English was limited. Our room at Il Sole was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The breakfast was okay, but the hand made cappuccino was excellent. it was a good place to stay for a night while traveling from Venice to La Spezia. The newly refurbished room had a great shower, excellent air conditioning, and was very quiet. It was a perfect retreat after a hot day exploring. The hotel was run by a very helpful family, making our first visit to Italy enjoyable.

There was nothing we didn't like.

My recent stay at a hotel in Empoli was an absolute delight. The location was incredibly convenient, being just opposite the railway station. This made it easy for me to explore nearby cities like Florence, Pisa, and Siena using the train. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, allowing me to experience local cuisine effortlessly.

The location is perfect for exploring Tuscany by train, right in front of the station. AC in the room was crucial during the heat. Breakfast had delicious pastries. Newly refurbished room with great shower and quiet AC. Traditional features like high ceilings and shutters added character.

This hotel is a gem! the location is perfect, just across from the railway station. It made it so convenient for us to explore nearby cities like Florence, Pisa, and Siena. Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful, going the extra mile to assist us with finding pharmacies and providing us with useful information about Italian plugs. Moreover, the rooms were lovely and modern, with a superb shower and clean, comfortable beds. We also appreciated the attention to detail in providing great air conditioning and a good internet connection. Lastly, the breakfast, although it could have had more variety, was satisfactory and fueled us for our day of adventures.

Everything was more than satisfactory.

Language barrier with check-in but they tried their best.

I stayed at Il Sole for my first visit to Italy and it was a great choice. The newly refurbished room was excellent, with a wonderful shower and the best air conditioning. It was also very quiet and efficient, making it a perfect place to come back to after a hot day of exploring. The hotel's location opposite the train station was a big plus, as it made it easy for us to travel to Florence, Pisa, and Siena by train. The family-run hotel was very helpful and friendly, adding to our enjoyment of the trip. a superb experience at Il Sole!

The hotel's location is very convenient for those traveling by train and it's also close to restaurants. The staff was helpful and accommodating with our luggage. The room was recently renovated and very clean, with a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of items to choose from.

The noise level can be a bit high due to the location and lack of soundproof windows. The minibar fridge was quite loud and disturbed our sleep.
