We stayed at Kilcommon Lodge for one night during our last-minute trip. The owner was friendly and gave us helpful advice. The lodge is a beautiful and cozy home, perfect for short stays. The fully equipped kitchen and peaceful dining room were a highlight. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

The access road may be challenging for motorcycle riders due to the long and deep gravel drive.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. the prices were incredibly affordable, offering excellent value for money. Secondly, the attention to detail in the rooms was outstanding - they were clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the bay. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home.

The views over the bay during twilight or breakfast were absolutely jaw-dropping! The serenity in May was mind-blowing, with very few guests at that time. The bedroom was cozy and clean, and the kitchen was super well-stocked with complimentary tea, coffee, milk, and cereals. The lady in charge offered delicious cooked breakfasts upon request. The gardens were beautiful with happy hens and pigs, and there was even a wooden rocking chair. The living room had a toasty fireplace and there were topographic maps on the walls. The location was outstanding, with a warm and informed welcome from the owner. The facilities were amazing, with a professional kitchen. The sitting room had a gorgeous view of the bay and a range of books. We felt very safe during our staycation in August, with good hand sanitizers available. The hostel was warm, very clean, and peaceful, with great WiFi. The big kitchen facilities were perfect for making picnics for day trips. The children loved their bunk bed bedroom and the massive box of Lego. Betty made us feel right at home and provided helpful tips for sightseeing. We will definitely be back!

Friendly staff, secure bike storage, comfortable beds, excellent showers, delicious breakfast. Kids loved the pool table. Lovely warm room, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful gardens, cozy living room with a stove.
