i adored my time at lakeside. ursula was a warm host, our dog felt like family too. the room was cozy, equipped with all essentials. the location by the lake was serene, just 30 mins from galway for a change of pace. excited to return.

I had a wonderful stay at Lakeside in Loughrea. The location was perfect, allowing me to explore the beautiful Lough Rea heritage trail and visit the famous Cliffs of Moher. The warm welcome and helpful information provided by Ursula, the proprietor, made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I especially loved the access to the lovely garden and walking area by the lake. I highly recommend Lakeside for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in Ireland.

We had a wonderful romantic escape here. the location was absolutely stunning, right by the lake and close to the town center. the chalet-style B&B was a pleasant surprise, offering a cozy and comfortable stay. the room was beautifully decorated and had all the necessary amenities, including tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, and helpful information about the town and nearby restaurants. the bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the attention to detail in the room's decor.

One minor issue was the outdated en-suite facilities in some rooms. While they were clean and well-maintained, they could benefit from some modernization.
