This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the midst of nature, right beside the only fjord in Ireland. The stunning views of the surrounding mountains from the balcony overlooking the water are simply breathtaking. The basic amenities like the comfortable rooms, with separate access for guests with dogs, and direct access to the outside make it a perfect choice for a relaxing retreat. The breakfast at 8.00am offers a huge assortment of delicious options, ensuring a perfect start to the day.

Spent Christmas here and had a great time! Loved the warm and friendly atmosphere. the location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains and fjord. Also, the staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially with food allergies. Enjoyed the delicious meals and the bonus of having access to seaweed baths nearby.

The hotel was quite crowded during the Christmas period, and the one, way system was not clearly explained upon check, in, leading to some confusion and people bumping into each other. Additionally, it was surprising to see dogs in rooms adjacent to non, pet rooms.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The location was spectacular, right on the edge of the fjord, providing breathtaking views. It was also conveniently close to shops and cafes. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a cozy and beautifully decorated living area and a spacious restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast provided was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel with breathtaking views of the water. The location was perfect, right next to the fjord. My room was exceptional with antique furniture and a huge bathroom. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was top-notch and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the cozy bar area and the excellent service from the young barman. a truly fantastic experience.

The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning scenery that made us feel like we were in a postcard. the staff were mostly friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming and warm atmosphere. the location of the hotel was perfect, offering beautiful walks and drives to explore the surrounding area.

we were frustrated that there was no offer to help us with our bags when we were clearly struggling, especially when we saw another family being offered assistance the next day. there was a mishap with our gluten-free order in the restaurant, as the plate came with a breaded entree.

Lovely hotel, fantastic location and scenery, friendly staff, tasty food. Enjoyed trip so much that I returned for an additional night! Couldn't have asked for more apart from the usual Irish weather though the Seaweed baths were nice way to pass some time as well as other relaxation. Well worth paying for the seaview - it is stunning. Absolutely beautiful setting, lovely room, great size, very comfortable. We stayed with dogs and there was enough room for all of us. Dinner was exceptional. Breakfast lovely too. It’s so difficult to find descent dog friendly hotels in Ireland and we were happy to find this hotel. The stuff was very kind and the food in the restaurant was delicious! The view from our room was spectacular! The hotel is located near lots of attractions.

We absolutely loved the stunning location and the warm hospitality of the staff. The manager even provided us with a delicious take-out breakfast when we had to leave early for our flight. The hotel exuded charm and character with real fires and great food. A true gem nestled on the picturesque Killary Fjord. Can't wait to visit again!

The staff were friendly and helpful, supplying us with maps and recommendations for local sights. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the fjord. The dinner in the restaurant was superb, and the breakfast in the morning was outstanding. I can't wait to go back for another break at this wonderful hotel.
