Stayed for 3 nights for a wedding. Cozy and clean rooms. Fantastic food in the restaurant, with plenty of space. Friendly staff.

Felt at ease, no reason to complain.

Stayed in a self-catering apartment in the heart of town, above a restaurant. Right across from a coffee/cake shop and stone-fired pizza place. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. It even had a combination washer/dryer. Minimal interaction with staff, but they were helpful and friendly. Parking lot entrance was narrow, but manageable. About a 30-minute drive to Galway town. Loved exploring the nearby Athenry Abbey.

Can't fault the property in any way. 👍

The hotel is situated on a main street in the center of town, which is very convenient. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. We especially loved the tray of delicious bakery treats that welcomed us upon arrival and the scrumptious brown bread served at breakfast. It's clear that the hotel pays attention to detail and wants its guests to feel at home.

The Lodge @ Old Barracks is perfectly located down the street from local attractions and is also near the motorway, making it easily accessible. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with locally sourced furniture. The bathrooms are also massive and impeccably clean. The staff, including the General Manager Scott, go above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. The breakfast served at the nearby Old Barracks Restaurant offers a large choice of fresh, high-quality food. Guests also appreciate the tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, as well as the treats on arrival.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness, hotel facilities, and parking were all top-notch. The location in this lovely medieval Irish city was perfect, as it was close to Galway City and surrounding areas. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located close to the Triathlon, making it a great spot for athletes. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Lodge At The Old Barracks. The room was spacious, clean, and had a functional bathroom. The staff who checked us in were extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. The location was convenient for exploring Galway, and we enjoyed having a delicious dinner at the restaurant downstairs. The tray of baked treats in our room was a lovely touch. we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

What an incredible experience! the room was spacious, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed the complementary coffee and tea maker in the room and the availability of Netflix made it easy for me to relax after a long day. the location was extremely convenient with little to no noise from the streets. What I appreciated the most was the staff's kindness and willingness to help with anything I needed. Plus, the small car park was an amazing convenience!

Honestly, I don't have any negative things to say about my trip. I enjoyed my time and everything exceeded my expectations.

We absolutely loved our Christmas stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. We also enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located in the heart of the town, making it easy for us to explore and walk to all the local amenities. Plus, the rich history of the town was incredible, adding an extra layer of charm to our stay.

While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a few minor downsides. we found the lack of facilities a bit disappointing, such as the absence of a fan in the room.

My recent stay at the Lodge was simply delightful. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town. The modern and well-equipped rooms were a pleasant surprise, and the breakfast served at the neighboring Old Barracks tea room was outstanding. The atmosphere was buzzing with locals enjoying the delicious food and community spirit. I can't wait to return!

We got excellent value for our money with a stylish and spotless room at the Lodge. The location was convenient, just off the motorway and a short distance from Galway. The staff treated us incredibly well, providing a warm welcome and being friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The only thing that could make the breakfast even better would be to have a wider variety of pastries available in the morning.

Great stay at The Lodge. Lovely, clean, comfortable room. Extra comfy bed. Spotless bathroom. Sweet treats from the bakery in the room on arrival. Tea, coffee, bottled water. Great to have access to Netflix on TV. Good WiFi. Nice quiet location only minutes walk from castle, abbey, shops etc. Staff were all friendly, polite and efficient. Very good breakfast. Absolute little gem of a place.
