As a couple celebrating our anniversary, we stayed at Mcloughlins for a few nights. The modern and well-designed room impressed us, with a spacious bed perfect for the occasion. The food, both dinner and breakfast, went above and beyond our expectations, deserving 10 stars on a 5-star rating system. The surprise champagne delivered to our room after mentioning our anniversary was a delightful touch. Additionally, the exceptional service of the waiter who went out of her way to provide gluten-free bread made our stay truly enjoyable. We definitely plan to return.

The location of the hotel is convenient, with shops and restaurants close by, and it is also near Achill Island. The rooms are well-furnished and offer stunning views. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The staff provides a warm and friendly service, always making sure to accommodate guests' needs. The breakfast, served in the cafe next door, offers a variety of choices and uses fresh local produce.

The bar/lounge area lacks a personal touch and can be noisy, making it difficult for light sleepers to rest.

We stayed at a lovely hotel located in a lay by at the front of a pub, which was perfect for exploring Achill Island. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the service provided by the staff was exceptional. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and was made with fresh local produce. The view from the restaurant was breathtaking, and we enjoyed taking in the stunning scenery while enjoying our meals. the location, room, and service made our stay truly enjoyable.

The soundproofing of the bedrooms could be improved.

Arrived at this luxury hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the exclusive amenities. the room was modern and spacious, the bed was comfortable and we had a beautiful view of the beach. the food at the restaurant was exceptional with a range of options for the most discerning palate. the service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. the location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and garden area, we enjoyed stargazing from the sun terrace.

The only minor issue was the noise from the bar downstairs which disturbed our sleep. after mentioning this to the staff, we were given earplugs and a room change was offered.

Their kindness and compassion truly touched my heart. I can't speak highly enough of McLoughlins Of and would highly recommend staying there when in the area. Stunning views, friendly staff, spotless and elegant rooms, tasty breakfast, creamy pints of Guinness. Comfy beds, amazing hot showers, lively pub with Irish dancing and a brilliant band. Full Irish breakfast included, lovely hostess with a warm smile. Lovely and clean place with everything you need, including ear plugs. Staff knowledgeable about the area and great suggestions. Impressed with courteous, kind, friendly, and helpful staff. Beautiful setting on the wild Atlantic Way.

Clean ensuite, fluffy towels. Comfy bed with great view. Basic, but clean room. Fresh, hot, delicious breakfast. Friendly breakfast staff.
