enjoyed a peaceful break in carlingford and riverside lodge exceeded our expectations. beautiful furnishings, immaculate cleanliness, and lovely treats upon arrival. the stunning property and gardens made us feel like we were abroad. the owners were warm and accommodating, providing a taxi service and delicious breakfast. highly recommend this exquisite place!

The sitting area and terrace were perfect for enjoying the beautiful views, while the dining table and patio allowed us to have meals outdoors. The garden furniture added a touch of elegance to our stay. The free toiletries and washing machine were also a convenient addition. we found this place to be incredibly comfortable and of high quality.

We also loved the little touches, like the honesty bar that supports a local children's charity. The location may require a bit of driving, but the hosts provided a complimentary shuttle to and from town, which was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend Riverside Lodge for a memorable stay in the area.

Elaine and Sean were incredibly helpful and friendly, attending to every little detail. The rooms had everything we needed and more, with a stocked fridge and tea/coffee maker. Everything is what I need and want.

The B&B had some good aspects, such as the fruit and pastries provided for breakfast. the location was also good, with easy access to the town. the room was spacious and the four-poster bed was comfortable and cozy.

The overall experience was not very good. the B&B had a strange smell throughout and the bathroom was not very clean.

We stayed at Riverside Lodge for a couple of nights and had a fantastic experience. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The location was convenient, just a short drive from great pubs and restaurants. Elaine, the host, was warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The extra touches, like umbrellas and makeup wipes, were much appreciated. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family.

riverside lodge was a real gem. from the warm and friendly welcome to the lovely and cozy room, everything was perfect. the little extra touches like chocolate and bottled water were a nice surprise. the shower was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious. can't wait to go back in the summer and see the garden come to life!

The breakfast options were plentiful with an abundance of fruit, yogurt, and sweet breads. The residential room was beautifully decorated and the entire property was ornate. The outdoor space had multiple seating areas, lovely flowers, and quirky signs. The owners were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist with transportation. A truly enjoyable experience.
