Enjoyed a cozy room with a comfy bed, TV, and ensuite. Riverside's breakfast spread was a delight, plenty of options to fuel the day. the owners Anthony and Ann were warm and welcoming, treating us like family. Anthony's cooking is top-notch! I left stuffed and happy every morning. Can't wait to return for more good food and chats by the river.

Homely Atmosphere and Amazing Breakfasts

the highlight of my stay was definitely the delicious homemade breakfast, featuring a variety of freshly baked goods and local produce. the only downside was that the restaurant was not open during weekdays, limiting dining options.

We stayed at Riverside Guesthouse for a weekend getaway. The room was immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. We had plenty of hot water and fresh towels. The peacefulness of the hotel ensured we had a great night's sleep. Anthony, our exceptional host, greeted us at the door with a warm welcome, even in pouring rain. His homemade breakfast, complete with delicious scones, was a highlight. The wide range of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and juices made for a delightful start to the day. The village itself was charming, with friendly locals adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We can't wait to visit again.

What a fantastic stay this hotel was! the rooms were not just lovely but also very comfy. the breakfast was hands down one of the best I've ever had, with freshly squeezed juice and homemade croissants. the host, Anthony, was exceptional - always there to welcome us, even in pouring rain, and cooking up a delicious breakfast with homemade scones.

It would have been even better if the restaurant was open during the week, giving guests a chance to taste the food and experience more of the local cuisine.

Stayed at a lovely olde world B&B serving fabulous food. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with high quality ingredients and perfect cooking. The staff were friendly and the owner, who is also the chef, was very attentive. The comfortable rooms had tea and coffee making facilities and the beds were very comfortable. The B&B is a great base for exploring Mayo and Sligo.

It was easily the best breakfast I had during my entire ten-day trip to Ireland. I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially for those flying from Knock Airport, as it is conveniently located just a few minutes away.

We had such a fantastic stay at Riverside Guesthouse! Anthony and Ann went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was absolutely incredible, especially Anthony's Thai curry and homemade sourdough bread. The location was perfect, right in the center of town and by a beautiful river. The breakfast spread was delicious with plenty of choices. The staff were friendly and the building itself had a charming old-world feel. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was the best we had during our entire ten-day stay in Ireland, with homemade bread and a variety of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We would definitely return to this hotel because of its warm and hospitable atmosphere, as well as its convenient location.
