The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great customer service throughout our stay. We also appreciated the clean and well-maintained rooms, with comfortable beds and fresh linens. the convenient location made it easy to explore the city and dine at nearby restaurants.

There were a few drawbacks that affected our experience. The bathroom was quite small, and the shower was even smaller, making it uncomfortable to use.

Lovely property, ample parking, minutes from town. Roomy, comfortable bedroom. Excellent, plentiful breakfast. Pleasant, helpful host. Great bars with brilliant entertainment. Overall enjoyable stay.

Athlone is a great place for water enthusiasts. The town has a charming old-world ambiance combined with modern conveniences, making it a delightful place to shop. The Left-Bank quarter offers a colorful selection of bistros, bars, and shops.

I just loved everything about Athlone, there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

The location of Shannonside House B&B N37Hf67 was surprisingly close to the town and restaurant areas, making it easy to walk to without getting lost. Elaine, the host, even provided us with a map for added convenience. The room we stayed in was spacious, immaculate, and it seemed like the bathroom had just been updated. Breakfast, cooked to order, was served in a beautiful dining area. The well-maintained property and beautiful courtyard with gardens made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast offered a nice selection, although it could have had more options for vegetarians. we had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

The beds were very comfortable, and our en suite room was perfect. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of choices. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided us with great advice on where to have dinner in town. The location was also ideal, just a short walk to the town center and the castle. it was an excellent experience and we would definitely stay here again.

I arrived at the b&b after a long journey in heavy rain from the Dublin ferry port. Luckily, the location was close to the town center, making it a short walk to find shelter. The quiet suburban area provided a peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely smell. The bathroom, though small, was one of the best I've seen in Ireland. The friendly and accommodating staff offered an early check-in and provided an iron and ironing board when requested. The breakfast had a great selection of delicious food.

Finding staff to ask questions was a bit difficult at times.

The hosts were chatty and engaging, making us feel at home. Comfortable and quiet stay. Close to Clonmacnoise and excellent local restaurants. Great advice and directions provided by the host.

the Wi-Fi signal could have been stronger, as we experienced some connectivity issues. However, these were minor inconveniences that did not take away from the overall positive experience.

I had a blast trying replica weapons and dressing up in period costumes at the castle. The town's old-world charm, combined with modern conveniences, made shopping a treat. And oh, the colourful selection of bistros and craft shops in the Left-Bank quarter!
