I recently stayed at The Bosun in Monkstown for three nights and I can't recommend highly enough this hotel. The staff's genuine hospitality and amazing service made me feel right at home. The attached restaurant served delicious food throughout my entire stay, and their extensive menu choice was impressive. The cleanliness of the entire place, including the restaurant, was top-notch, and the warm welcome and efficient service were commendable. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring Cobh, Cork, and the surrounding area, with a great view from my room.

Great stay for New Year! the location is perfect, with easy access to key attractions and public transportation. the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, making our stay enjoyable. the rooms were comfortable and clean with good amenities. the breakfast provided was fantastic and a great way to start the day. a great experience!

The pillows in the room were a bit small and could be more comfortable. despite having a "do not disturb" sign on the door, the cleaning staff still entered our room and threw away a drink we were saving.

Handy elevator, great selection of brandy. Fantastic view, quiet location. Lovely staff, immaculate room, chocolates on pillows. Beautiful dinner, perfect Irish breakfast. Relaxing night away, enjoyed harbor walkway in the sun.

Stayed at a lovely hotel overlooking the estuary with a view of sailing activity. the room was serviced daily and always clean. Breakfast offered a great selection of food. the Bosun restaurant had a wide menu choice, delicious food, and friendly service. the bar had fabulous, fresh food and a great atmosphere. Staff was helpful and friendly. the entire place, including the restaurant, was very clean. the attention to detail, like chocolate on the pillows, was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

The location of the hotel was fantastic, as it was very close to Fota by car ferry which was so handy. The hotel also had a beautiful view of the sea, making it a picturesque spot to stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the river. The service provided by the staff was excellent, as they were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast served was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. the hotel offered great facilities and advantages, such as free WiFi and ample parking.

The portion sizes of the starters in the restaurant were quite small, considering the prices charged.

This hotel truly offers value for money. The prices are reasonable and affordable, especially considering the beautiful location directly near the sea. The view from the bedroom window is absolutely stunning, with the bay right in front of you. The staff at this hotel are attentive to every detail, ensuring that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are well-equipped with basic amenities, including an iron and hairdryer. The breakfast provided is fantastic, with a variety of continental options included.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was fantastic.

I had such a memorable stay at this charming harbor hotel. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, especially at night with the shimmering lights reflecting on the river. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Despite a few minor room issues, overall I highly recommend this property.
