We had a fantastic Christmas experience at this hotel! the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing us with the best Irish hospitality. the food was outstanding, with a great variety to choose from and a talented chef who truly impressed us. We also loved the fact that the hotel offered an excellent breakfast, which was a delicious way to start each day.

There were a couple of aspects that could be improved upon. our room was located along a busy road, resulting in a lot of noise from traffic and people on the street.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Glencarn. The staff, especially the girl at reception, were friendly and helpful. The spacious room was great and the breakfast was delicious, cooked to order. The bar had a fantastic cocktail menu and played great music. The leisure facility, although smaller than expected, was nice and provided towels for the pool. we enjoyed our stay, although we did find the hotel slightly overpriced compared to other places we've stayed. The nearby Lake Muckno was a highlight, offering hours of entertainment for families on our fishing trip.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊

The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming, and our request for a quiet room was accommodated effortlessly. Room 69 was peaceful, with no noise disturbances. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were great, ensuring a refreshing start to the day. The central location made it convenient for exploring the town and heritage trails, and we enjoyed the high speed internet in the public areas. The included breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, and a delicious full Irish breakfast made to order. The bar and restaurant offered tasty meals, including a juicy burger and a daily special. Not to mention, the leisure staff provided excellent service. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.
