I recently stayed at the Midway in Donegal for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the towels were changed daily. The portions at dinner were generous and the staff members were incredibly friendly. What I loved most was the family atmosphere and how three generations of the family worked together to make my stay enjoyable. Paula's home-cooked meals and her children's service in the restaurant and bar made me feel right at home. It's not a Hilton or Sheraton, but if you want a real family-run Irish pub and B&B, the Midway is perfect!

Would recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. the cozy room had a lovely view and a comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. the highlight of our stay was the delicious home-cooked meals prepared by Paula, with the kids providing excellent service in the restaurant and bar. We also appreciated the local knowledge shared by the boss, making our experience truly authentic. the location was perfect, with easy access to eateries and Dungloe pier just a short walk away. we had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return!

I recently stayed at Midway Bar & Guesthouse for 5 days to explore County Donegal. The location was perfect for exploring the area. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always taking the time to assist me, even when busy. The food, especially the fish stew, was delicious and the breakfast was substantial. The warmth and friendliness of Paula and the staff made my stay so enjoyable. I hope to return someday.

As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the central location and immaculate rooms. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. We spent three days in Donegal, moving from town to town each night. The staff at Midway Bar & Guesthouse were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great. The location is perfect, situated near the shops and just a short walk to the waters edge and jetty. If you have a car, it's easy to explore the surrounding areas. The evening food options were delicious, and the bar had a friendly, local atmosphere. a welcoming and convenient place to stay.
