We recently stayed at a charming place in Florence called Foresteria Valdese. the old abbey building had loads of charm and was conveniently located within walking distance of the city center and all the sights. Our room was spacious and had basic furniture, but it also had air conditioning and a large balcony. the bathroom was clean, and we enjoyed ordering takeout from nearby restaurants and eating on the balcony while our children were asleep.

The location of the hotel is superb, with all the major attractions just a short walk away. It is conveniently situated near a bridge, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a cozy atmosphere for a pleasant stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests. the hotel supports a great charity, adding a meaningful touch to your stay.

The checkout time was too early, at 10AM, which didn't allow for a relaxed morning before departure. Additionally, the noise from other guests rolling their luggage and slamming doors early in the morning was quite disturbing.

Great location for exploring the city on foot, with many attractions and restaurants nearby. the apartment was clean and well-maintained, with ample storage space in the bedroom. the availability of coffee and vending machines in the building was convenient, especially for early mornings. the surrounding area had some excellent trattorias and a renowned ice cream shop, adding to the overall experience.

The street noise from early morning rubbish trucks was a bit bothersome, but not the hotel's fault. the advertised garden access was not available and the entrance felt underwhelming.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days and were very pleased with our experience. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from all the main attractions in this city. We were able to easily explore the city on foot and also reach the main railway station within 10-15 minutes. The hotel itself was very clean, and we had ample storage space in our room. The staff was also friendly and accommodating, and even offered us a discounted rate upon check-in.

We had a great stay at this place in Florence. the lady at the reception was very kind and spoke excellent French. They even let us keep the room for the whole day as our train was leaving late. the building is clean and well-located, with many bars and restaurants nearby.
