Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! The location was ideal, as it was close to the bus stop, making it convenient for us to explore nearby attractions. We loved being able to easily walk down to the sea and visit the main museum. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked to order. We also enjoyed the powerful shower and abundance of hot water. it was a great little holiday!

We did find that the pillows were a bit flat and could have been more comfortable.

The staff was nice and welcoming, and the breakfast was filling and tasty. the location was convenient, close to the main bus station and the seafront. the room had a TV and free WIFI, which made my stay more comfortable.

Sadly, the room was dirty and old, and it didn't look like it had been updated recently. the bathroom was cramped and not well cleaned either.

As friends who enjoy going out at nights, we really appreciated the welcoming and accommodating hosts at the Adelphi hotel. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, providing extra breakfast options and helpful information about the island. The breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious, offering a choice of cereals, fruit, and a fantastic full English or vegetarian breakfast. The clean and comfortable room, along with the super comfortable beds, ensured a good night's sleep. The location was great, within walking distance of attractions, parks, and transportation. Free parking was available after 6pm on the street and throughout the weekend.

I had a fantastic stay at a centrally located guest house in Douglas. The host, Eric, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast provided was delicious. I especially appreciated the extra effort made when I had to catch an early ferry and was accommodated with an early breakfast. The central location made it easy to explore the area and catch buses and ferries. Additionally, Eric went above and beyond by allowing me to leave my suitcase at the nearby Manx Museum before heading to the ferry terminal. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this guest house to others.

While the overall stay was enjoyable, there were a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. The double bed was actually two single beds pushed together, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times.

One of the best things about this hotel is its value for money. With affordable prices, you get a lot for what you pay for. The location is another plus point, as it is within a short walk to the city centre. Despite being situated in a quiet area with limited options for food nearby, there are a few places almost right next door if you're feeling hungry. Additionally, the staff in this hotel are attentive and provide excellent service. The basic amenities in the rooms, including tea and coffee making facilities, are a nice touch. And if you're traveling with a group, the availability of rooms with three single beds is convenient.

Breakfast was hot and fresh, with extra toast and tea. Owners were friendly and helpful. Room was a good size with hot shower. Always warm and clean, towels changed daily.
