I recently stayed at a cozy guest house in Douglas for 9 days. The Glenfaba Guest House was the perfect choice for my trip. The bedroom was just the right size for a solo traveler, and the en suite bathroom was excellent. The breakfast offered a great variety, including fresh fruit, and the cooked breakfasts were absolutely magnificent. The location was also very convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the town center and close to the beach. Steve, the host, was exceptional and even accommodated my early breakfast request on the last day so I could catch my ferry home. a fantastic experience!

I recently stayed at Glenfaba Guest House for a few nights for a motorbiking event. Steve and Maria were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout my stay. The room, although small, was clean and comfortable. The brand new bathroom with a great shower was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast options, including cooked options, fruits, and cereals, were satisfactory. The location of the guest house on a quiet street and its proximity to the Douglas promenade and the bus stop to the airport were convenient. The 20-minute walk to the city center along the promenade was enjoyable, and there was even a small supermarket nearby.

The room was clean, newly painted, and had a new carpet. The shower was very good with plenty of hot water. We had a lovely seafront view and could hear the waves. The owner, Steve, was very helpful and pleasant, sorting out all our queries immediately. Steve provided us with a hairdryer and a bedside lamp upon request. He also put a lock on the patio door to ensure our safety. The location of the guest house was good. The breakfast at Glenfaba was decent and added value to our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this guest house. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices, including fresh fruit. The hosts went out of their way to ensure our comfort and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect for us, just off the promenade and within walking distance to the ferry and public transportation. the cleanliness, facilities, breakfast, and staff were all top-notch.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The room was clean and spacious, with a nice shower. the location was excellent, just off the seafront and close to a bus stop for easy transportation to the airport. it was within walking distance to the steam train and electric train, providing convenient access to explore the area.

There were a few minor issues that detracted from the overall experience. upon arrival, it took a few rings of the bell to get a response and there was no information provided about wifi or breakfast times.
