The hotel is situated in a 1300 AD monastery, giving it a unique and historical feel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of choices. The surroundings, including the gardens and views, are beautiful and picturesque.

We had an absolutely marvelous experience at Certosa Di Pontignano Residenza D'Epoca. It exceeded our expectations in every way. the place was sparkling clean, the service was top-notch, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. From the breathtaking views and sunsets to the peaceful atmosphere, every aspect of our stay was perfect. We loved exploring the Italian gardens, visiting the church, and strolling through the vineyards and olive orchards. It truly felt like stepping back in time. This was definitely one of the highlights of our tour in Italy. We can't wait to come back and spend even more time here next time.

I had such a unique experience staying at this charming accommodation in the heart of the Chianti countryside. the Certosa Di Pontignano Residenza D'Epoca is like a hidden gem, with its old cloister setting and beautiful gardens to wander around. the monk cell apartments, although simply furnished, are incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds and stunning views. the staff were super nice and helpful, and the breakfast spread was wonderful. I also enjoyed the wine bar for a relaxing nightcap. It was the perfect base for exploring the Tuscan region, with easy access to Siena and other nearby sites like Florence and San Gimignano. a truly delightful experience.

The rooms were simple and lacked charm, with thin walls that allowed sounds to travel between rooms. the beds were uncomfortably firm, and the thin blanket didn't provide enough warmth during the colder months.

Views of Siena from the gardens were absolutely spectacular. the staff provided a warm welcome and our check-in process was simple and efficient. it was an exceptional and special experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay near Siena.

As backpackers, we loved the spacious superior room with amazing views and air conditioning. The hotel grounds had a stunning church, large gardens, and a courtyard. There were plenty of things to explore, and the restaurant had a nice setting in the courtyard. The value for money was excellent.

We felt taken care of, and the staff made sure that nothing was too much trouble for us.

The location of this countryside getaway was absolutely stunning, surrounded by olive orchards, vineyards, and beautiful gardens. But what I loved the most was the magnificent breakfast spread, which was a real treat every morning.

While the overall experience was wonderful, there were a few drawbacks. the lack of air conditioning in the rooms made it difficult to sleep during hot summer nights.
