My stay was significantly soured by several issues. the air conditioning was inadequate, leaving the room uncomfortably hot and stuffy throughout our 3-night stay. Additionally, I encountered a major cleanliness issue with a wet towel left in the bathroom upon arrival. It took hours for the staff to respond, and the safe in my room was malfunctioning, displaying an error message. Overall, the service did not meet the standards of a four-star hotel, and I was left feeling disappointed.

The Foscari Palace offered an elegant room with large windows that provided stunning views of the Grand Canal, allowing me to enjoy the vibrant life on the water below. Each morning, I savored a delightful breakfast featuring a wide selection of pastries, fresh fruit, and warm cappuccinos, perfectly starting my day exploring Venice. The rooftop terrace was a beautiful spot to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, making my visit truly memorable.

We enjoyed fantastic views of the Grand Canal right from our room and loved breakfast by the canal. The rooftop deck was an unexpected gem for family photos, and being close to the ferry to Murano made it easy for our teens to explore the glass factories.

In my wife’s opinion, the air conditioning could definitely use some improvement.

The building has a charm that's straight out of the past! ! I remember sitting on that stunning terrace overlooking the canal, sipping an espresso while taking in the vibrant life on the water below. The rooms were spacious, and the mattresses felt like clouds after a long day of walking around.

It wasn't cheap, but honestly, it was all worth it.
