The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views from both the bedrooms and the dining room were impressive. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering tips for our trip. I also enjoyed the communal area, which was a nice place to socialize with other guests. I had a wonderful stay at Burfell and would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Iceland.

We had an amazing stay at a hotel run by a very professional and friendly family. The rooms were spacious and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. The highlight of our trip was definitely the delicious breakfast, with a wide variety of high-quality food. We also enjoyed a fantastic dinner at the hotel, where they served Indian-influenced Icelandic cuisine. The location was perfect for us, with a beautiful view of the mountains and easy access to attractions like Dyrholaey and Vik.

This hotel is located in a beautiful farm right up under a glacier topped hill, with breathtaking views from the rooms that have an outside terrace. The value for money is great as breakfast is included. The staff is friendly and provides a good service.

The young girl at the reception was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. Despite the restaurant being closed for the winter, I was able to cook my own meals in the kitchen. Although it was a bit far from the nearest restaurants, the peaceful surroundings made up for it. I appreciated the ample free parking available on the property. my experience at Burfell was pleasant and I would definitely consider returning in the future.
