I was impressed with the grandeur and elegance of the interior of the hotel. The period decorations and spacious salons gave it a real palace feel. The room I stayed in was well-appointed and very comfortable. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a variety of high-quality food to choose from. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, with great restaurants, shopping, and must-see attractions within a short walk.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of most of Palermo's main attractions. The rooms are spacious and filled with natural light, offering a charming view of the bustling streets below. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the front desk and breakfast waiters. Additionally, the breakfast spread is impressive, with delicious made-to-order omelets and strong cappuccinos.

The hotel's overall appearance is a little down at the heels, with stained carpets and a few areas in need of maintenance.

The location was perfect, situated near theatro Massimo and the neighbor church, creating a harmonious atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The hotel is a gem in the city! the breakfast spread is amazing and the staff is really helpful. You get complementary Wi-Fi and bottled water, and they have an excellent spa service. the location is perfect, just a hop away from the main square and all the bustling shophouses. the hotel has beautiful architecture with stained glass windows and high ceilings, making it a real Instagram-worthy location.

The only thing we disliked was the noisy surroundings, especially late night noise due to the thin walls that couldn't muffle the sound. the aircon was rather noisy, but we did get used to it eventually.

As youngsters, we absolutely loved the charming Victorian atmosphere of the hotel. The old Whittaker Mansion provided a unique and cozy ambiance that made us feel like we were stepping back in time. The breakfast in the exquisite mirrored dining hall was a highlight, with a delicious buffet spread and even champagne to start the day off right. The staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

We felt very welcome throughout our stay, with no complaints whatsoever.

I was pleasantly surprised by the charming 'old world' feel of the hotel. The fading elegance and peeling wallpaper added a unique character that I found quite enjoyable. The staff was polite and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to bring me a bag of ice late at night after I sprained my ankle. The central location was perfect for exploring the city and the C19th ambience of the Whittaker Mansion was delightful. The breakfast in the old ballroom, reminiscent of the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles, was a highlight, with the option of champagne for a luxurious touch. The rooms were stately, with traditional furnishings and modern ensuite bathrooms. The lobby and common areas were beautiful, filled with antique statues and furniture. Despite a few minor maintenance issues, I found the overall experience to be a joy and appreciated the hotel's quirkiness.
