The room at Grand Hotel Europa was excellent - clean, large, and great value for money. The decor had a touch of 80's style, but everything had been thoroughly modernized. I was pleasantly surprised to find that even though cable TV was installed, the classic hotel radio unit still worked. The staff were friendly, spoke English, and quickly sorted out any minor problems. The breakfast had a broad selection of sweet and savory options, and as someone with gluten allergies, I appreciated the gluten-free choices they had for me. The location was convenient, just a 20-minute walk to the town center. I would highly recommend this hotel.
