We loved staying at this hotel! The location was actually better than it seemed - being in the center of town would have been a detractor. This place is high above the bustling city, which is good as the main road is very noisy the closer you get to the center. The views from the pool/terrace/restaurant were WOW. It was just up on the hill outside of the city. The service was excellent, with staff going over and above in many areas including keeping staff on to provide cold dinner and wine when we arrived at midnight. The room was clean and had a beautiful terrace with garden furniture. The breakfast on the terrace was amazing. The staff were amazing - they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The pool area was clean and never too busy. we had a fantastic stay here.

The only downside is that the location is a bit remote and you need to take a shuttle to go down to the city and the beach. However, we would still highly recommend this hotel to all.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The panoramic ocean view was breathtaking and instantly gave me vacation vibes. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The interior design and colors of the hotel were lovely, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. I especially appreciated the convenience of the free shuttle bus that operated regularly, taking me to the town center and the private beach.

The breakfast service was great, with plenty of options and a fantastic view. the pool was refreshing and there were always plenty of beds available. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing sightseeing and dining recommendations. the view from the hotel was spectacular.

The room was disappointing, with outdated furniture and a small shower without a shower curtain. the restaurant dinner menu had limited options for children, and there was no hot food on the room service menu.

The views of the Mediterranean from every area of the hotel were exceptional. The room was perfect with a large balcony and claw foot bath. The breakfast was great and well organized. The hotel offered a convenient bus service to Amalfi township. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast selection was abundant with plenty of choices. the view from our room's terrace was absolutely spectacular, making us feel like we were in paradise. the staff was incredibly nice and even upgraded us to a better room at no additional cost. the shuttle service to Amalfi and the private beach was punctual and well-organized, providing us with convenient transportation throughout our stay. the hotel's location, although high and reachable by narrow and winding roads, was made comfortable by the shuttle service. we highly recommend this hotel for a quiet and romantic getaway with breathtaking views.

Unbelievable views! Extensive balcony, pool deck, and outdoor eating areas provide 180-degree views. Exceptional rock grotto bar and helpful, accommodating staff. Hotel shuttle to downtown center is convenient. Rooms have high ceilings, large bathrooms, and spacious balcony/deck. Delicious food with potential for longer hours. Highly recommended for unbeatable views and friendly staff.

The views from our room at this cliffside hotel were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sunrise over the coast was a truly spectacular experience. The free shuttle to the town and private beach made getting around very convenient. The breakfast spread was delicious with a great variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel, despite a few minor drawbacks.

The view from our room at Grand Hotel Excelsior was absolutely superb! We had a relatively small balcony where we could sit and marvel at the breathtaking view of Amalfi. the hotel's shuttle bus was a massive plus, conveniently taking us right down into the heart of the city. the staff were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. the evening meals at the hotel were varied and great value, allowing us to enjoy delicious food without having to leave the property.
