We stayed at Hotel Il Poggetto in Castellina Marittima for one night during our trip around Tuscany. The hotel, located in a quiet village just 10 km from the Aurelia Road, offered beautiful views of the Tuscanian hills from our balcony. The friendly hosts warmly welcomed us despite our late arrival. The breakfast buffet was superb with a wide variety of courses. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with new towels provided. We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing stay, and the restaurant served delicious food with generous portions. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We stumbled upon Il Poggetto by chance and were pleasantly surprised by our stay. The hotel is located in a peaceful village, about 10 km from the Aurelia Road, offering stunning views of the Tuscan countryside from our balcony. Despite the language barrier, the hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome, even with our late-night arrival. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The hotel even went the extra mile by checking if we needed any additional amenities or cleaning. we highly recommend Il Poggetto for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
