We stayed at Hotel La Badia for a romantic getaway and were captivated by the beautiful and interesting buildings and grounds. The service was excellent, creating a charming and relaxing environment. The view across the valley to Orvieto was simply glorious, and the adapted monastic buildings, including a chapel and side-chapel with frescoes, added to the unique and magical atmosphere. The breakfast under another fresco was delightful, and although we didn't get to use the pool due to thunder, it was still very attractive. We also enjoyed the convenience of a short drive to Orvieto's city center.

I loved the charming setting of the old monastery, surrounded by beautiful art work in the chapel. The peaceful ambiance allowed me to be in direct touch with nature. The breakfast provided was really nice and satisfying.

We absolutely loved our stay at this medieval abbey-turned-hotel. The view of Orvieto from the hotel was breathtaking. The reception staff were professional and very helpful with our luggage. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were great for a good night's sleep. The restaurant served superb food.

I had an amazing stay at a peaceful hotel in the hills, with La Badia Di Orvieto in sight. the staff on site provided excellent service, and the restaurant was top-notch. the clean and spacious rooms made for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor courtyard, where I could relax with a glass of wine in the early evening or late at night. the setting was truly special, with beautiful historic buildings and a tranquil atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring nearby attractions.

As a tired traveler, Hotel La Badia was a welcoming haven. The staff went above and beyond, even sending a car to collect us. The beautifully restored 7th Century Abbey provided a unique and historical atmosphere. The grounds were stunning and the views were breathtaking. The in-house restaurant served amazing food and the pool area was delightful. Location-wise, it was conveniently close to Orvieto, the train station, and car rental services. Plus, the proximity to Civita di Bagnoregio was a major bonus.

I loved staying at this historic location, nestled amongst the olive gardens at the top of the hill. The phantastic view of the medieval monastery and the beautiful town in front of me was breathtaking. The room was very comfortable and I appreciated amenities like the mini-bar and in-room safe. The staff was excellent and helpful, from room service to car hire. I enjoyed lounging by the outdoor swimming pool and exploring the garden area, as well as the leisure/ TV room with free Wi-Fi.

I would recommend staying at this place to anyone looking for a great stay, fantastic amenities, and helpful staff.

We had a fantastic stay at this old beautiful monastery close to Orvieto. The hotel facilities were extraordinary, with a ruined abbey and tower that were beautifully lit by moonlight during dinner. Our breakfast experience was unique, with frescoes in an old barrel-vaulted room. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided us with many ideas for visiting areas we had not thought of. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, just minutes away from the picturesque ruins of Orvieto Medieval town and close to Orvieto Cathedral.

We were thrilled with the idyllic setting of Hotel La Badia Di. The 12th-century abbey was truly magical and the views of Orvieto were breathtaking. We enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard with a drink and the dinner outside was a marvelous experience. The historic ambiance of the hotel was truly special and added a unique touch to our trip.

Spent a lovely Xmas break in a stunning hilltop location. Got treated to a cozy log fire in common areas & got spoilt with a delish Xmas dinner. Rooms were spacious, clean & had fantastic views of beautiful surroundings. As a bonus, got provided with free shuttle service & complimentary breakfast. Ideal for visiting old town & cathedral as it's within walking distance. Staff was accommodating & friendly, making our stay an unforgettable one.
