There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel's location right in front of the ferry station and close to the lake is simply perfect. It allows for easy access to exciting lake excursions and stunning views of the water. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with excellent air conditioning and large bathrooms. The friendly and helpful staff provide excellent service, and the breakfast each morning is delicious. Additionally, the hotel offers the convenience of a car park right outside and electric bicycles for hire.

The toiletries were not restocked daily, and we ran out toward the end of our stay.

We had an unforgettable first trip to the Italian lakes and Hotel San Gottardo played a huge part in making it so special. The location was superb, just a stone's throw away from the Ferry station, making it easy for us to explore the area. The staff were lovely, from the junior trainees to the senior members, always polite and willing to help. We were especially grateful for the excellent attention given to providing gluten-free options at breakfast, catering to our dietary needs. The advice given by the hotel on how to make the most of our 3-night visit was invaluable. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel for its great location, attentive staff, and attention to detail.

This hotel is in an incredible location, right on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The views are simply breathtaking, especially from the rooms with big windows or balconies. The staff is very friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are well-equipped with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The breakfast included in the stay is a great bonus, with a good selection of delicious options to start your day.

The only small downside was the occasional noise from the street, but it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of this hotel.

Liked the stunning view of the lake from the room which made for a great start to my Easter holiday. the buffet breakfast was an added plus with a variety of local and international delicacies and coffee service with a smile. the location by the ferry station made it easier for me to board ferries and explore the area.

Disliked the lack of on-site parking and the hassle of finding parking nearby. the room was small and poorly furnished with an uncomfortable bed.
