The staff at the hotel were incredibly warm and welcoming, treating us like family throughout our stay. the service was top-notch, with special mentions to Luanna, Luciana, Anna, and Daniele for their friendliness and excellent service. the hotel also offered an Andrea Bocelli package, which included fantastic seats at the historic Greek theater and many extras. the view from our room's huge balcony was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the bay, town, and Mt Etna. the bed was also very comfortable with luxurious sheets.

The hotel was located high up on a road outside the center of town, and the road had some tight bends, making it a bit challenging to reach the hotel. Walking back up the steps from the town center to the hotel was also difficult, especially in the heat.

The breakfast room also provided incredible views, although the breakfast buffet itself was only average. Despite these minor downsides, we would highly recommend this hotel for its stunning views, comfortable accommodations, and tranquil atmosphere. we had a fantastic experience at Villa Ducale.

Additionally, the amenities provided, such as the USB ports to charge our electronics, added a touch of convenience to our stay.

There were no major negatives during our stay, but we did encounter some trouble with mosquitos. We got bitten quite badly when we were sunbathing, so we recommend bringing mosquito repellents.
