As women traveling alone, we felt very comfortable and safe at this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the best restaurants in town. The cave experience was unique and the views from the terrace were incredible. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable.

I got great value for my money at Il Belvedere in Matera. The room was spacious and clean, with a stunning view of the Belvedere. The hotel's location was perfect, within easy walking distance of everything. The staff were professional and very friendly, providing excellent assistance with train schedules and restaurant recommendations.

The food for breakfast could have been better with more variety.

Beautiful views of the landscape and Matera from the patio. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, providing bus/train schedules, restaurant recommendations, and suggestions of things to do. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable. The breakfast provided was plentiful and could be enjoyed outside on the patio. I highly recommend this hotel for its stunning views and friendly staff.

On the positive side, the hotel is located in its own area of cave and in the beautiful Sassi area, providing a unique and authentic experience. I also appreciated the fact that there are good restaurants within a short walk from the hotel, making it convenient for dining. Furthermore, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. Finally, the breakfast on the terrace with stunning views of the city was a highlight of my stay.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The value for our money was unbeatable and our room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the pedestrian area and the famous "Sassi." The staff at Il Belvedere were superb, treating us like royalty and always happy to help with anything we needed.

this was my second stay in matera and il belvedere exceeded my expectations. the staff was exceptional, showing us around and making dinner reservations. our room was beautiful and the view from the terrace was spectacular. breakfast on the terrace was a highlight. one of the best hotels i've stayed at. book it!
