During my recent stay at Hotel Grimsborgir, I had the pleasure of experiencing the most idyllic and peaceful spot within easy driving distance of the Golden Circle sights. The four-bedroom villa provided ideal accommodation for my family and the large communal sitting room was a great addition. We especially loved the breathtaking views from the hot tub on the deck - it was truly a peaceful and beautiful experience.

Although I had some minor concerns, like the lack of a kitchen area and limited dining options, the overall experience at Hotel Grimsborgir was superb. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and provided valuable advice on which sights to explore in my limited time.

The property was fabulous with friendly staff and flawless check-in. The mini bar in the room was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we loved the private deck. The restaurant offered live piano music, a cozy fireplace, and a great variety of wines. The dinner was excellent, especially the cod and lava cake. Breakfast was also satisfying with a nice variety to choose from.

The 4-bedroom unit we rented was a bit disappointing. Two of the rooms seemed like converted spaces, especially one with separated twin beds in an odd-shaped "L" layout.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel near Tingvellir national park. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and offering stunning views from the attractive restaurant. The room was clean and well-decorated, providing a comfortable stay. The bathroom was also spotless, with all the necessary amenities. The service was excellent, with helpful staff members. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options available. Additionally, the hotel had hot tubs and offered omelettes made to order, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

The wait time for the toaster during breakfast was a bit long.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was excellent, surrounded by greenery and near a river, providing a peaceful and natural ambiance. We loved waking up to the sound of wild birds. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional, providing excellent service. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was top-notch. The quality of the food was outstanding.

We would highly recommend this hotel to our family and friends. The location was perfect for exploring the South of Iceland and the Golden Circle.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The luxury bungalow was spotlessly clean and in immaculate condition. The private hot tub and BBQ outside were a great addition. The hotel facilities were fantastic, including the beautiful main building where I enjoyed delicious breakfast and evening meals. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. The location in a beautiful area in Grimsnes was ideal, providing easy access to all the sightseeing locations in the south.

La ubicación junto a la playa es muy conveniente, permitiendo disfrutar de las hermosas vistas y acceder fácilmente al mar. El desayuno ofrecido fue delicioso y variado, satisfaciendo diferentes gustos y necesidades. El personal del hotel fue amable y atento, brindando un buen servicio durante toda mi estadía.

Todo fue perfecto. El hotel está ubicado lejos del casco antiguo de la ciudad, lo que hace necesario utilizar transporte o caminar largas distancias para llegar a él.
