Our family of four had a fantastic time staying at Hotel Grimsborgir. The studio apartment had two spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, perfect for our teenagers. The outdoor hot tub was a fun adventure, although we had to run across the snow to reach it. The manager was incredibly helpful, even driving us to Selfoss and a local pizza restaurant. we highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in a beautiful location.

The rooms were spacious with beautiful wooden floors, and the internet was super fast. the location was perfect, giving us a feeling of being in the countryside surrounded by stunning views. And one of the highlights was definitely the hot tubs, which were so relaxing and enjoyable.

We did have a few minor issues during our stay. there were no bathrobes provided to use when going to the hot tub, and we had to ask reception for extra towels.

Hotel Grimsborgir offers fabulous facilities with fantastic design and quality furniture. The terrace and jacuzzi provide a perfect spot to watch the Northern Lights with no lights around. The breakfast is fantastic, with fresh and local products. The staff, especially María, provides fantastic service and is professional and friendly.

During my recent stay at Hotel Grimsborgir, I had the pleasure of experiencing the most idyllic and peaceful spot within easy driving distance of the Golden Circle sights. The four-bedroom villa provided ideal accommodation for my family and the large communal sitting room was a great addition. We especially loved the breathtaking views from the hot tub on the deck - it was truly a peaceful and beautiful experience.

Although I had some minor concerns, like the lack of a kitchen area and limited dining options, the overall experience at Hotel Grimsborgir was superb. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and provided valuable advice on which sights to explore in my limited time.

The property was fabulous with friendly staff and flawless check-in. The mini bar in the room was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we loved the private deck. The restaurant offered live piano music, a cozy fireplace, and a great variety of wines. The dinner was excellent, especially the cod and lava cake. Breakfast was also satisfying with a nice variety to choose from.

The 4-bedroom unit we rented was a bit disappointing. Two of the rooms seemed like converted spaces, especially one with separated twin beds in an odd-shaped "L" layout.

The room was clean and well-decorated, providing a comfortable stay. The bathroom was also spotless, with all the necessary amenities. The service was excellent, with helpful staff members. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options available. Additionally, the hotel had hot tubs and offered omelettes made to order, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The luxury bungalow was spotlessly clean and in immaculate condition. The private hot tub and BBQ outside were a great addition. The hotel facilities were fantastic, including the beautiful main building where I enjoyed delicious breakfast and evening meals. The location in a beautiful area in Grimsnes was ideal, providing easy access to all the sightseeing locations in the south.

The room in this hotel was beautiful, spacious and clean. The bathroom had a tub and a separate shower as well as two sinks. I loved the live ABBA cover band that was playing during my stay, it was a great surprise. The buffet dinner was delicious and well served. The bar was small but had everything I needed.

The restaurant was a bit expensive for dinner and the food descriptions on the menu were not very detailed. The wine prices were quite high.

The facilities at Grimsborgir were excellent, especially the breakfast and the location for viewing the northern lights. The staff were friendly and helpful, and each room had a balcony.
