my recent stay in matera was amazing. we stayed at a beautiful cave house with spacious rooms and a stunning courtyard. the dinner was delicious and the sommelier was incredibly helpful. the self-serve breakfast was excellent, with a helpful staff member. can't wait to return and stay here again.

The cave experience was truly unique and luxurious. The room was well-furnished and the bed was very comfortable. It was a special touch to have a separate cave room to relax in. Parking was a bit difficult as it required a walk with luggage up and down lots of steps. This may be challenging for those with poor mobility.
