We had a fantastic stay at Le Origini Bed & Breakfast. The property is beautifully presented and situated in a high location with stunning views of the ancient town. The quadruple suite we stayed in was spacious and had a small terrace with wonderful views. The bed was extremely comfortable and the modern bathroom, recently restored, had excellent facilities. The owners, Anna and Savirio, were a lovely couple and provided us with great assistance and tips. They spoke excellent English. The breakfast provided was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located directly next to the old city center, making it easy to explore everything Matera has to offer. You can walk to the old town, where you'll find great bars and excellent restaurants, such as I Baccus. The rooms are clean and modern, and the bathrooms have plenty of hot water. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. They provide an excellent breakfast every morning.

our stay at le origini bed & breakfast was simply perfect. the staff went above and beyond with their helpfulness and knowledge about matera. the room was clean, spacious, and the view was breathtaking. definitely recommend having breakfast in the room for a delightful start to the day!

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the facilities provided. The hotel had convenient parking and was located directly next to the old city center, making it easy for us to explore. There were several good restaurants close by, offering a variety of dining options. The breakfast was delicious and had a great selection. I especially loved the rooms with the hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The location, close to the old town and the caves, was ideal for easy access to all the attractions. The breakfast, with its homemade cakes and local selections, was a delightful start to the day.
